This tool can mash molten glass for a thinner application of Millefiori or other fused component parts.
Place the Monster Masher on the kiln washed shelf. Draw around the tool. Then place stainless steel washers in the corners of where the masher will be placed.  Height of the washers will determine the thickness of your mash.  While the kiln is heating up  place the Monster Masher on top of your kiln. Make sure the glass is very Molten {~1525 degrees F} Turn off the kiln before you make your press. Make sure you have a glove or protection for you hand. Do not stay long.  Come straight down press quickly and then remove. If you stay too long, you can warp the tool and create cold marks on your glass.  If the glass resists the mash, then your glass is not hot enough. Reheat glass to a higher temperature and repeat the mash. Flash vent to 1,000 F.  Close the kiln and cool to room temperature.
